He was an electrical worker for Detroit Edison at 78 Washington Blvd. in Detroit. When the 1920 census was taken, the Arthur Shorkey family was living in Detroit (Wayne), Michigan. Arthur was an electrician for Edison-Illinois? In this census there is a Raymond LaFrance who is 1-1/12 years old that is listed as a son. When the 1930 census was taken, this family was living in Ira (St-Clair), Michigan. Arthur Shorkey was an electrician for Edison Power. Arthur Chorkey was mayor of New Baltimore, Michigan in 1953.
