Name |
Guillaume (William) CHARTIER |
- When the 1860 census was taken, “Bill Sharkee” was a farm laborer living in the home of A.G. & Sarah Ellsworth in Whiting. Napoleon Sharkee was on the same census page and was a farm laborer living in the home of Armon Needham. When the 1870 census was taken, this family was living in Whiting, Vermont. Living with the family was Napoleon, William’s brother. In this census the name is spelled and indexed as “Carter” which is interesting because the census taker was the same for William’s family and for the family of his parents. William and his family couldn’t be found in the 1880 census.
