  	This marriage was performed by Father Chiniquy. When the 1860 census was taken, the family of Serrol and Julis Taylor were living in Momence (Kankakee), Illinois. Serrol was a mason. When the 1870 census was taken, the family of Cyril and Julia Terrien were still living in Momence and Cyril was still a mason. When the 1880 census was taken, the family of Cyril and Julia Taylor were still living in Momence and Cyril was a stone mason. When the 1900 census was taken, Julia was widowed and living with her son, Moses, on North Maple St. in Kankakee. Moses is a mason. In this census Jula said she was the mother of 17 children with 9 of them living. When the 1910 census was taken, Julia was still living with her son Moses; however now they were living on Chestnut St. in Momence. Moses is a stonemason. When the 1920 census was taken, Julia was still living with her son, Moses who is single. They are living on Maple St. in Momence. Moses has no occupation. When the 1930 census was taken, Julia has passed and Moses was now living with his brother, Jules on Rural Road #4 in Momence. Mose was single and Jule was divorced. According to family members, four of the daughters were married to: Joseph Weist of Sheldon, Illinois; S.M. Alexander of Aurora, Illinois; Edward Palmer of South Bend, Indiana; and P.J. Cummings of Tuscola, Illinois. Scott Alexander married to Julia Taylor was found in the 1900 census; but the three other daughters could not be found. Note: At the time of Julia (Sharkey) Taylor’s death, 8 children out of 17 were surviving and 41 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
