- This family was living in Bremerton, Washington in 1945 when Rhea’s brother Harold Leo Frasier died. DeWayne retired in 1977 after almost nineteen years of service as an Alameda County Deputy Sherriff and more than twenty-five years of honorable military service in the Wisconsin National Guard and U.S. Navy CWO W-4). He was stationed aboard the U.S.S. Pennsylvania in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941. He continued to honor and remember all those whose lives were lost and affected by the events of that day through his service and dedication to the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. He was a faithful member of his church and a 50-year member of the Knights of Columbus. Besides his daughters, he was survived by granddaughters Colleen (Ken) Schneider, Kasey (Sergio) Moctezuma, Christine (Justin) Sinclaire, and Andrea (Stephen) Carroll, and great-grandchildren Spencer and Sophia Sinclaire.
