  	Clifford while he was in the service served in South Korea and Germany. His death certificate says he was a Viet Nam veteran; but according to his second wife that wasn’t true. He was a postal worker when he died. He met his first wife in Germany. She had a second marriage to Paul Edward Kronk at a Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia on 28 Jun 1970. The marriage did not last; but what happened to Elsa after her and Paul Kronk divorced is not known. Virginia Stamps attended Chamberlain Senior High School in Tampa, FL and graduated class of 1965. She had a second marriage to Jeffrey Lynn Wheelock in Bolton, VT on 08 Aug 1981; and a third marriage to Michael Sparkes which lasted two years. Clifford’s third wife had a first marriage to Donald R. Powers on 29 July 1950 in Norwich, Vermont and a third marriage to Rocky A. Davis, age 40, on 27 Nov 1993 in Williamstown. Pearl had a first marriage to Peter Joseph Duval in Burlington on 10 Sep 1955. Pearl owned and operated the cafeteria in the Federal Building on Pearl St. for many years. She was also active with the Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. When Pearl died, she was survived by her four children and their companions, Peter Duval and Sonja of Burlington, Joseph Chartier and Randy of Burlington, Danny Duval of Colchester, Scott Duval and Bobby Jean of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Pearl was predeceased by a son, Michael and a grandson, Adam. According to Joseph Charles Chartiers birth record on file in the State of Vermont; Pearl was his mother; but the record wasnt recorded until April 30, 1992 even though the record says he was born on March 14, 1960.
