  	Beverly attended East Granville schools and graduated from Randolph High School in 1953. Following her education, she worked at National Life in Montpelier. After raising five daughters, she returned to work at Sprague Electric in Barre and later at Bombardier in Barre Town, where she worked in the cafeteria. She also babysat for her grandchildren. During high school, she belonged to the Rainbow Girls and served as Worthy Advisor in 1953. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 10 in Barre. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking, listening to country music, and dancing.
